In the national context of Education policies a new model of Education and Development took place in the Azores, within its process of autonomy, which is defined and described in this article.
It was due to the strategic options of regional government, which are in the origin of a regional educative project construction and the emergence of autonomous regulation processes. More than 20 years later and facing the economic, political and social changes of the risk societies and the knowledge societies, it is urgent to think this development model in the light of new context. |
