Distante a palavra não dita
árvore não plantada
planta não florida
flor não frutificada
fruta não colhida
o silêncio assusta
os desavisados: perturba
em espanto
no cesto o pão percorre o último
trajeto entre a planta e a fome saciada
no que dizem e acrescentam.
BREAD
Far is the unsaid word
unplanted tree
non-flowering plant
unfertilized flower
uncollected fruit
silence scares
the ususpecting: it disturbs
in awe
in the bread’s basket goes the last
path between the plant and the satiated hunger
in what they say and add.
