Abstract:
Syntactic Art explores the artistic values that each word presents inside a sentence, in connection with its syntactic meaning.
In these selected extracts of Shakespeare plays (showing some sentences where the keyword ‘drinking’ is mentioned), substantives may emerge in red, verbs in blue, and so on.
Each sentence (re)presents a rhythm which is the very timing or agenda of our ‘visual mental syntax’. For instance, in each sentence one to three verbs are enough to make an understandable connection between two or more concepts. These concepts are represented by substantives and by some adjectives.
The whole ‘text picture’ express the unconscious patterns or the inner ‘colours’ we use when we perform an argumentation in the thinking process.
